Dr. Nicole Hall

After studying in the great state of Colorado and receiving my doctorate in dentistry, I realized that this was my one opportunity to explore another amazing city. I am so happy I chose the beautiful state of Arizona as my new home. I’ve had the pleasure of treating people in just about all of the wonderful suburbs around the valley. I am so excited to be centrally located right smack dab in the middle at Uptown Dental & Orthodontics.

I honestly couldn’t be more excited to wake up each morning to join my team at work! We thrive in a fun, light-hearted atmosphere, and our dental office is truly one of a kind.

After being an athlete most of my life and competing in track and field at the collegiate level, understanding the link between systemic and oral health is very important to me. Because of this, our team focuses on prevention and teaching people how to avoid dental problems.

I like to use the discipline and work ethic instilled in me from my athletic background to better serve my patient base. I know my job is to save teeth, but I genuinely enjoy surgery and taking teeth out.

I have a future goal to travel around the world and donate dental services to less fortunate countries. Volunteering is a huge passion of mine. Some affiliations I am involved with include: Arizona Mission of Mercy, Special Olympics, Hope Fest, Give Kids a Smile, and Liberty Wildlife animal rehabilitation clinic.

I’ve had the pleasure of growing up in the beautiful states of Minnesota and Montana, which developed my passion for anything outdoors. When I’m not creating smiles, you can catch me backpacking, camping, hiking, snowboarding, longboarding, and doing anything to stay physically active. I also love being creative, and most of the dental art you will find in the office I have created myself. I love the challenge of learning new skills and even taught myself how to juggle during COVID. I’ve set a new personal goal: learn origami and stay well-versed in puns and “dad jokes.”

Chris

Dental Hygienist

Chris, an Arizona transplant from Colorado, has been practicing dental hygiene for over ten years. He takes pride in ensuring he provides the best possible care for every one of his patients as if they were his own friend or family member.

He has been published in the dental publications RDH Magazine and Dentistry IQ for various topics, including the safety of mouth rinses, and going beyond dentistry and oral health to look for clues in the overall health of dental patients.

When he’s not wearing his tooth-saving cape, he usually plays fetch with his Jack Russell terrier, Azula.

Sarah

Dental Hygienist

Sarah is from Northern California and started her dental hygiene journey in 2014 when she moved to Arizona. With only a basic understanding of dentistry through being a patient, she quickly fell in love with how the mouth affects our bodies as a whole. She prides herself on gentle yet thorough patient care and understanding each person’s needs as it pertains to them. Studying through Carrington College, which has a non-profit Dental Hygiene clinic, they were very focused on the community and volunteering at various events such as the AZ Mission of Mercy and Brighter Way Dental Center.

When she is not flossin’ like a boss, Sarah enjoys hanging out with her friends and family. Exploring this beautiful state by taking road trips to go hiking and camping, or kayaking down the Verde River to enjoy some live music while wine tasting. Don’t forget to brush and floss the teeth you want to keep!

Alfredo

Lead Dental Assistant

Alfredo is an Arizona native born in Yuma and raised in the small border town of San Luis. Alfredo loves to help people in any way he can, so dentistry is the perfect fit. He understands how scary the dental office may feel, so he especially takes pride in making people laugh to help calm their nerves. He never gives less than his best efforts and is excited to be a part of the team at Uptown Dental & Orthodontics.

Alfredo is bilingual, married, and has a cat named Dexter. He likes to challenge his anxiety by going on new adventures, such as hiking, roller coasters, CrossFit competitions, obstacle races, and skydiving.

Elisia

Dental Assistant/Front Office

Elisia was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She fell in love with the power of dentistry as a young child when she had braces, and she saw how her life changed as her smile enhanced. She dreamt about becoming a hygienist or a dentist, so in 2009, she went to school to become a dental assistant to see if the dental field was the right fit for her.

Since then, she has become very knowledgeable as a dental assistant, and with insurance and front office duties. Because she is cross-trained, you’ll see her floating between the front office and the back office.

She absolutely loves helping patients understand their dental benefits, and she looks forward to seeing you become a part of our practice as a patient!

Berenice

Front Desk Coordinator

Berenice has always loved going to the dentist! She enjoys talking to patients and helping them improve their dental knowledge and experience. She became a Dental Assistant in 2017 after graduating from Altrain Dental Academy .

She enjoys shopping with her daughters and doing projects around the house in her free time.

A healthy smile is just a click away.
