During an evaluation, your Phoenix dentist takes time to get to know you and discuss your smile goals so she can partner with you in achieving your healthy and beautiful smile. She uses x-rays, photos, and an examination to determine if you need treatment and, if you do, which procedures would be most suitable for you. You will always have the final say on the best treatment for your smile, budget, and schedule.
Dr. Hall can let you know specific time frames for treatment and the exact costs of procedures during your evaluation. This way, there are no financial surprises for you.
We accept different types of dental insurance to help reduce treatment costs, work with third-party finance companies, and offer an in-office membership plan for patients without dental insurance.
Uptown Dental & Orthodontics plan members enjoy 100 percent coverage for preventive appointments and additional savings on most other procedures for one low yearly membership fee.
If you have questions about dental treatment, payment options, or need a second opinion on recommended treatment, reach us online or call (480) 376-1716.
Invisalign works well for most patients needing tooth alignment or simple bite corrections; however, it’s not ideal for complicated bite
issues.
The best way to determine if Invisalign in Phoenix is the right treatment to suit your specific needs is to schedule an evaluation with Dr.
Hall. She’s a certified Invisalign provider, and she uses x-rays, photos, and a thorough examination to determine if Invisalign can help you
reach your smile goals. She can also discuss alternative options with you if you decide Invisalign is not the proper treatment for your needs.
Patients who choose Invisalign for their smiles love it because it provides discretion since aligners are clear and virtually invisible.
Aligners are also smooth, comfortable, and easy to wear, so you don’t have to endure pokey brackets or wires.
Wearing your aligners for at least 22 hours each day ensures that you stay on track with your treatment, and you can easily remove them when
it’s time to eat or brush and floss. You’ll change your aligners every two to three weeks, moving to the next set in the series, and you’ll
check in periodically with Dr. Hall to ensure your treatment is progressing as planned.
If you have questions about Invisalign or would like to schedule an evaluation, contact Uptown Dental & Orthodontics at (480) 376-1716.

Many dentists feel that dental implants are the “gold standard” for replacing teeth. This is because they offer so many benefits for patients. Here’s what you should know.
Why Choose Dental Implants in Phoenix?
Dental implants are the only replacement option that restores your root and tooth. Why is this important? Because when you lose a tooth root, you also begin to lose bone density. When your jawbone doesn’t have a root to support it, it begins to deteriorate, impacting neighboring teeth.
Some other advantages dental implants offer are:
- Natural-feeling solution – the function and appearance of a natural tooth
- Easy home care – you can brush and floss as you usually would
- Peace of mind – you can eat, chew, talk, and smile with confidence again
- Excellent longevity – implants can potentially last a lifetime with the proper care
- An intelligent investment – other appliances may have to be replaced over the years
- Versatility – dental implants can replace one or multiple teeth
- 95 percent success rate – tooth implants are a highly reliable procedure

Following a tooth extraction, you should eat soft foods for a day or two. However, your dentist in Phoenix, AZ will provide more detailed and customized instructions based on your unique case.
Soft foods may include the following:
- Mashed potatoes
- Pureed fruits and veggies
- Mashed fruits and veggies

Reasons You May Need Tooth Extraction
One of the most common reasons for extraction is tooth damage due to decay or trauma. In many cases, your Phoenix dentist can save the tooth, but if it is not salvageable, we will always recommend tooth replacement to preserve your oral health.
Wisdom teeth can be problematic when they don’t erupt properly or encroach on neighboring teeth. Because you don’t need them to enjoy a healthy smile, your dentist may recommend extraction.
We may suggest an extraction before Invisalign® treatment if the jaw cannot accommodate a row of straight teeth. And it may be necessary to extract teeth before making complete dentures.
We provide gentle tooth extraction in Phoenix.

The ADA (American Dental Association) recommends that healthy patients visit their dentist every six months for preventive teeth cleanings and checkups.
