Technology

Originally built in the 1950s, our Phoenix dental office has an eclectic, vintage feel that we love! However, that doesn’t mean we’re not equipped with all the latest dental technology we use to enhance your experience at our dental clinic.

Read on to learn more about the state-of-the-art technology we use to streamline dental procedures and make your visits with us the best they can be!

Rotary Endodontics

What if we told you that getting a root canal could be a comfortable, easy process? Would you believe us? Well, it’s true! With rotary endodontic tools, Dr. Hall can access the inner canals of your tooth to eliminate infected tissues quickly and easily.

Rotary tools are nickel-titanium, making them more flexible and easier to use than stainless steel hand tools. They’re also electric, so Dr. Hall can complete the procedure faster and more efficiently.

Digital Impressions

If you’ve ever had an impression taken at the dentist in the past, you may have encountered a goopy, messy ordeal that might’ve made you gag. These days, we have digital impressions that allow us to scan images of your teeth digitally, which is less messy and much more comfortable for you.

Intraoral Camera

Our slim, pen-sized intraoral camera allows us to take full-color pictures of your teeth and mouth that you and Dr. Hall can review immediately. These pictures help you see exactly what’s going on with your teeth so that Dr. Hall can make treatment recommendations and you can decide what’s best for your smile.

As they say, “A picture is worth a thousand words.”

CBCT Cone Beam Technology

Our CBCT cone beam technology provides 3-D imaging of your teeth, soft tissues, roots, and jaw joints. 3-D images are helpful for planning many types of treatment procedures, like root canal treatment, tooth extraction, and dental implant placement.

Using 3-D technology provides information that allows Dr. Hall to be extremely precise and accurate with these treatment procedures delivering the best results and outcomes possible.

Laser Dentistry

Dentists have been using lasers for over 50 years for various procedures. The laser is especially beneficial for helping our patients manage gum disease.

The laser quickly and smoothly eliminates diseased tissues without cutting or harming healthy tissues. It also keeps the treated area sterile and seals it for accelerated healing. As a result, patients enjoy a more comfortable procedure and quicker recovery when we use the dental laser.

Digital X-Rays

Developing traditional x-rays is a thing of the past, which is beneficial for our team and our patients. Digital x-rays provide a clearer image for Dr. Hall to review and evaluate immediately. This means quicker and more accurate diagnosis, especially in a dental emergency.

Since we no longer have to develop our x-rays, it means we don’t have to use chemicals that are harmful to the environment.

And digital x-rays emit 90 percent less radiation to our patients, which means that everybody wins with digital x-rays!

Nitrous Oxide

Imagine what it would be like if visiting your Phoenix dentist was a relaxing, stress-free experience where you kicked back and didn’t worry about a thing. We know that visiting the dentist is the exact opposite for many patients. However, nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas, can help make the experience more like the first one we mentioned.
